He's not going to turn his back to you. So get out his face. He'll see that the trap is open and leave.
raccoons are not nice
I'm sure he's he will be great ful that its free...thank you for that.. 👍
Interesting review thanks. Got this one as a school book and also enjoyed The Inheritors.
There are two film versions of the film - 1963 and 1990. The 1963 version (black and white) is much more eerie than the 1990 version. I would highly recommend it. Perhaps the film they showed you in high school was a documentary / commentary type of film? In any event, thanks for a great clip! Also enjoyed the book.
Thanks
Nice video. I think I read this about three decades ago (I'm in my 40s). Aside from a few of the major plot points and symbolism, "Sucks to your ass-mar!" seems to be my lingering takeaway. 🤷♂️
Lol
Most Germans had no choice. They were conscripted into the military and they done their duty honourably. I think history has been very unkind to the average German soldier. Most of it is jealousy too because they were the supreme fighting force of ww2.
Sometimes the books that you read require few comments just because they captivate you while being read, thanks for uploading 🍻
Thanks for watching Clint.
What is this setup even... Some dark drapes covering the windows except the ac, and some round wooden table with nothing on it, but some can food... And you're watching a laptop with James Paul Von Helton in it with your daughter. You're a weirdo.
Yet you still are here making videos after all these years. You're just another nutter harassing ppl.
Interesting review thanks. Enjoyed Burmese Days and can recommend J.G.Farrell's The Seige Of Krishnapur. It won the Booker Prize 1973.
Thanks, I'll look for those.
With your phone take photos of the books that you have.
I'm not sure what you mean Paul, my books lie in three different locations. I did make a video, "the cabin interior" where I film what I have there.
That's odd, mine seem to just tumble out.
Sounds good thanks brother
👍🏿
I've cracked the solution for your project after thoroughly reviewing your social media presence and delving into your UA-cam channel content. Your UA-cam videos have left quite an impression on me. However, to catapult your channel to viral status, some crucial updates are in order, with SEO topping the list. There's a multitude of other enhancements too. If you're inclined, I can take charge of the SEO optimization and video promotion aspect.
Read both Into Thin Air & Into The Wild, and thought both their movie adaptations good too. Interesting review on this one. Thanks.
Thanks.

I did read this book myself back in the day. With my very own eyes no less! There was a time, years ago, before the dawn of intellectual laziness when I felt that Rudyard Kipling was well worth the read. Believe it or not, but I used to read like you. Before I allowed the internet to become a distraction.
Oh I have a problem with staring at my phone, I could be reading a lot more.
My son is named Winston, but not after Churchill, sounds like some construction in the background, other than the aeroplanes.
Well, ask kids today what RAF means. So don't know about The Beatles.
Fire the damn cameraman!
Totally wrong opinion. I notice he has a Michigan shirt on. Maybe that explains it. History is is written by the victors but there are always 2 sides. Not enough time to go on but if you only want to see things thru the eyes of northern aggression then so be it. But, if you want to hear from the peoples of a region…..
War of northern aggression LOL
Imagine finding yourself in the midst of London during this time.
Different times, they really didn't know what to do, they knew enough to quarantine sick people, but that's about it. All said the people behaved like a community should, not like the selfish bastards we got today. We are screwed if anything approaching the plague fatality rates comes around today. I hope I'm at the cabin if it does.
I've always thought it would be cool to own one of the stone canon balls used at Constantinople.
It would be a great place to visit, the stone balls are stacked up still, portions of the triple wall are visible, and the city is full of friendly kitties. Tourists are advised to carry dry cat food while walking about.
The bed sheet thing was done not all that long by the Pennsylvania Dutch. I heard that as a kid. I'm 1/4 PD.
Hello Paul!
People just don't have the passion these folks had back in the day. Society has become a flock of sheep. They know more about their favorite sports team than their representatives in congress.
Look at the Billboard, come and play, come and play - rage against the machine.
I’m still a COVID virgin! But spent the last three years dealing with a wrecked ankle, good to see your getting over it 👍
I hope the ankle is better. Covid is bad, broken bones are worse. Good to see you Clint.
Thanks 😌
Keep getting well there sooner.
I hope like hell you are feeling better by the minute.
I'm alright.
Get well soon 😌
Thanks. I am feeling better.
He's got battery-powered eyes.
Coincidentally, recently finished Lord Jim, which i liked after reading The Secret Agent, and now on the lookout for the O'Toole movie. Under Western Eyes next methinks- Thanks.
Goods!
I've been done with this book for a few days, but continue to think about Jim. I, like Jim, have fucked a few things up in my life. Jim couldn't fix it, only do the right thing when it happens again.
That's good advice there.
I've been reading a book. Just skipping around getting the good parts rather than reading straight through. It's called Haynes Repair Manual Chevrolet &GMC. Very interesting actually. 👌🏻
Very fast😍 where is it?
This is in Florida.
What a tale, thanks.
Just imagine how much better off society would be if we used the internet and before that television and before that radio to educate people rather than create a bunch of brain-dead zombies.
Yes. Lots of lies on UA-cam, but not 50% of the traffic! I have read this book too. Much of it is very painful. Very well written and focused. (Yes, back in the day on YT much more than 50% of the videos about SH were crapspiracy ones.Happily that is no longer the case.)
You are more optimistic than I am, I'm really disgusted with how this wonderful, instantaneous communication is being used. I don't see it improving. UA-cam does do a good job keeping me from calling people an idiot, they're all over that, even threatened to shut down my channel.
Ha! Didn't know that word was on the ban list! "IDtenT" is a way to get around that! @@demonorse
King James and Wikipedia 👍🏿
Thanks for sharing. I think Tuchman passed in 1989. The Herodotus story you ended with, was probably more of folk lore and as I understand it, would fit better in the category of ancient Greek theater rather than historical fact. Thank you for sharing your appreciation for history and reading.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Nice cabin and library 👌
Early summer, I'll be bringing up more books. I need to figure out where to put up shelves.
It's interesting that he tried to make the sinking of the ship controversial. Was it that he just didn't know, or was he simply full of shit ... 🤔 In " The Pirates Of The Caribbean, " they removed the people from the ship before they tipped it over and removed the barnacles. Just saying.
I even googled to make certain that I was right.
Nice review thanks. Gonna get this one soon.
@@jboyd9062 Thanks!
Why did you want a skunk or a red squirrel? What were you planning on doing????????
Relocation.
What is that raccoon 🦝 very mad 😠 😡 for?
So??!! DID HE EVER LEAVE THE TRAP??!!!
Atomic Blonde 👱♀️
Cool
You could make a great argument that this book is a big reason why Imperial Japan lost WW2. They based their doctrine very heavily on it, but there were a few key shortcomings about how it applied to that war. Winning a decisive battle, paradoxically, wasn't critical.
